Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute easily a direct illumination and an indirect illumination by a single illuminating device by using one proximate photographing electronic flash device. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing a direct illumination, an electronic flash devide 5 is installed to the tip of a lene barrel 2 so that a flash tube 13 of the electronic flash device 5 is opposed to an object to be photographed 14. In such a case, when an interval between the center part of a projecting part 5c of the electronic flash device 5 and an end face 5b, and an interval between the center part and an end face 5a are denoted as (d) and (e), respectively, its relation becomes (d)>(e). A thickness (f) of an installing part 6a of a reflector 6 has a relation of (d)-(e)<=(f). Accordingly, the installing part 6a of the reflector 6 is made about onto a collar 3a of an installing mount 3, and from on said part, the electronic flash device is fitted so that the flash tube 13 turns to the direction opposite to the object to be photographed 14, and thereafter, a holding mount 4 is screwed to the installing mount 3, and by a collor 4a of the holding mount 4, the electronic flash device 5 and the installing part 6a can be fixed between said collar and the collar 3a of the installing mount 3. In such a way, by only reversing the installing direction of the electronic flash device, a direct illumination and an indirect illumination can be executed, therefore, a photographer can select easily an illuminating method which is suitable for photographing purpose.

(Background of the Invention) Conventional electronic flash devices for close-up photography have been attached to the tip of the lens barrel or to a member to provide illumination from a location relatively close to the subject. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, an arc-shaped flash tube 13a is provided at the tip of a lens barrel 11 of a camera 10 having an automatic light adjustment function along the circumferential direction of the lens barrel.

A flash device 12 (commonly known as a ring light) having a lens barrel 13b was attached, and flash photography was performed by directly irradiating a subject 14 close to the lens barrel 11.

However, in this close-up photography, the shadow of the flash discharge tube appears in a part of the photo (in this case, a ring), and the shadow 15 of the subject 14 appears clearly, resulting in a photo with strong contrast. The drawback was that it was not possible. This drawback is especially noticeable when photographing at very close range.

It is easy to imagine using indirect illumination to eliminate this drawback, but it is extremely difficult to select an aperture for cameras that do not have automatic light control. However, in recent years, most cameras have automatic light control, making it easier to take pictures with indirect lighting. As shown in Fig. 4, the electronic flash device for indirect illumination has a mount 3 (hereinafter referred to as mount 3) for attaching the electronic flash device for close-up photography and a holding mount 4 at the tip of the lens barrel 2. , an electronic flash device 16 having flash tubes 13 (13a, 13b), and a reflector 17.

The reflector 17 is screwed into the tip of the lens barrel 2 and fixed to the flange 3a of the mount 3. When the electronic flash device 16 is assembled in this order, the reflector 17 is attached to the collar 3a of the mount 3.
The electronic flash device 16 has its protrusion 16a in contact with the tip of the mounting mount 3, and the holding mount 4 is attached from above by screwing into the screw portion formed at the tip of the mounting mount 3. , the electronic flash device 16 and the reflector 17 are fixed to the lens barrel 2. At this time, the flash tube 13 held in the electronic flash device 16 is
The flash light is emitted in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens barrel 2 so that the flash light does not shine directly on the subject 14, and indirectly illuminates the subject 14 via the reflective umbrella 17. reflective umbrella 17

In this way, if you want to obtain proper exposure in close-up photography, there are two types of lighting devices: a flash device for direct illumination as shown in Figure 3, and a flash device for indirect illumination as shown in Figure 4. The disadvantage was that one had to use them differently.

First, a case where direct illumination is performed using the ring-shaped electronic flash device 5 will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, a mount 3 is screwed onto the tip of a lens barrel 2 of a camera (not shown), and a flash tube 13 of an electronic flash device 5 (13
Fit the electronic flash device 5 into the mounting mount 3 so that the parts a and 13b) face the subject 14, and then screw the holding mount 4 onto the female thread formed on the mounting mount 3 from above. Then, the protruding portion 5C of the electronic flash device 5 is pressed against the tip of the mounting mount 3 by the holding mount 4 and fixed. At that time, the distance from the center of the protrusion 5C of the electronic flash device 5 to the end surface 5b of the flash device 5 (or the distance from the center to the collar 3a) is d, and the distance from the center to the end surface 5a of the flash device 5 is d. If e is the distance from the center of the protruding part 5 to the flange 4 of the holding mount 4, then d>e
If the interval to a is g, then g≧d.

Therefore, when performing direct illumination, the flash tube 13 of the electronic flash device 5 should be faced to the subject 14 as shown in FIG.
An electronic flash device 5 is attached to the tip of the lens barrel 2. In this case, the relationship between die and die becomes important as described below.

As described above, first, the mount 3 is screwed and fixed to the tip of the lens barrel 2. For installation, use mount 3's tsuba 3
To attach the reflector 6 to the reflector 6, the part 6a is brought into contact with the reflector 6, and the electronic flash device 5 is fitted onto the reflector 6 so that the flash tube 13 faces in the opposite direction to the subject 14.

The reflective umbrella 6 is formed so as to be able to irradiate the subject 14 with the flashlight from the flash tube 13. Also, the installation of the reflective umbrella 6 is done in the section 6.

Therefore, the mounting part 6a of the reflector 6 is brought into contact with the collar 3a of the mount 3, and the electronic flash device 5 is fitted from above so that the flash tube 13 faces in the opposite direction to the subject 14. After that, the holding mount 4 is screwed onto the holding mount 3, and the electronic flash device 5 and the mounting part 6a are fixed between the holding part 6a and the fitting mount 3 using the collar 4a of the holding mount 4. can.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and can be modified as appropriate.
Although a gap is provided between the end surface 5a of the holder 5 and the collar 3a to sandwich the mounting part 6a, for example, if the threaded part of the mount 3 and the mount 4 for holding is long, the mounting can be done without providing a gap. The reflector 6 can be fixed by screwing in the holding mount 4. In addition, it is not necessary to form a female mount 3 at the tip of the mount 3 and attach the mount 4 for holding down. Unlike the conventional method in which two types of electronic flash devices for close-up photography were replaced depending on the situation of one person in the 1st race, the new system uses only one electronic flash device for close-up photography. By using a flash device, there is an advantage that it can be used for both direct illumination and indirect illumination, so it is possible to obtain an illumination method suitable for photographic purposes at low cost. Therefore, different photographic effects can be obtained with one electronic flash device for close-up photography.
