Abstract

PURPOSE:To read out quickly an urgent document by reporting the arrival of an urgent communication message visually and audibly. CONSTITUTION:Each of storage areas 11, 11- of a communication message storage part 10 is provided with an identification section 12 to which logical ''1'' is set if a coming communication message is urgent. When logical ''1'' is set to any identification section 12, a detecting circuit 13 outputs the detection output, and this output is applied to a display driving circuit 14 and a voice synthesizing circuit 15, and thus, the arrival of the urgent communication message is reported with display and voice.

Even in the case of such an emergency communication, if the recipient side is not notified of the request for emergency communication by simply indicating the number of documents arrived in the display field, it is impossible for the receiving side to know the request for the emergency communication. Also, if the document is read out in the order of arrival, it will not be possible for the receiving side to know the request for the emergency communication. There is a delay in reading the document, making it impossible to achieve the original purpose.

(E) Embodiment FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing the main parts of the system of the present invention, in which (10) corresponds to each workstation (1) (1), etc. in the file server (5), respectively. 0.1.2. It has memory areas (11) (11,)... numbered ``...'', and each storage area (11) (11)... has a logical memory area (11) (11,)... when an incoming message is treated as an emergency. The identification area where “1” is introduced (

12) A detection circuit that outputs a signal when "1P" is introduced into any of..., and the detection output of the detection circuit (13) is applied to the display drive circuit (14) and the speech synthesis circuit (15). The display drive circuit (14) has a display (16) for visually informing that an emergency message has arrived at the workstation. This display (16) is as shown in the figure. A standalone display lamp or the like may be used, or a system may be adopted in which the message number display field (6) blinks as shown in Figure 2.The speech synthesis circuit (15) may also be equipped with a speaker (17). ), and the arrival of an emergency message is announced by voice.

On the other hand, when an emergency message arrives at the message storage unit (10) as shown in FIG. 4, the message is first stored at the address in the order in which it arrived, but immediately the storage order changes as shown in FIG. The emergency message is moved to the first address of the message storage section (10),
When reading a message, it is read first.
