Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a seal face from being abnormally abraded or damaged, by a method wherein the diameter of the section for inserting the oil seal for the rotary shaft on a vacuum pump side is made larger and the thrust-directional position is determined by the stepped section. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric vacuum pump 1 and a generator 2 are connected to rotary shafts 8, 12 of the same axis driven in common, and the diameter of the section 8e confronting to the oil seal 10 of the rotary shaft 8 on the vacuum pump 1 side is made larger than the diameter of an oil control section 8d or a spline section 8c. The thrust-directional position of a shaft bearing 9 is determined by the stepped section 8f of the larger diameter section 8e. ン部13aが成形されており、両スプライン部が嵌合し
ている。また、回転軸8は油制御部8d及びスプライン
部8Cに対し軸径を大きくした大径部8eを有し、この
大径部8eとケーシング4に設げられたオイルシール1
0とでシール面を形成し、かつ、この大径部8eの段付
部8fにて軸受9のスラスト方向の位置決めを行ってい
る。
