Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a high speed and inexpensive transmission circuit by transmitting an input data at each character to a polling issued through scanning so as to make the period of polling constant. CONSTITUTION:A controller 1 of a terminal system using a polling equipment is provided with a transmission control section 2 and plural input devices 4 are connected by an interface cable 3. A polling 6 is issued in a predetermined interval and order from the control section 2 of the terminal system and a reply 7 is returned from the input device 4 to the polling 6. Then an input data series 8 generated by each input device 4 is formed, the period of polling is made constant, any high speed and inexpensive transmission circuit is not required and the series of the input data generated by the plural input devices 4 is reproduced by the controller 1.

期でポーリングする。各入力装置はそのポーリングに対
し、データ無しの応答、または、入力データ有りの時は
その入力データをブロック伝送する。

として、ポーリング周期内でデータ伝送が終了するよう
に、伝送速度を速くすればよいが、伝送回路が高価なも
のとなる。

伝送制御部2が受信すると、その入力装置4からのデー
タを組立て制御装置1に渡す。
