Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of wrinkles or flow marks on a skin by having applied tension longitudinally and transversely to the skin material at the process in which the skin material and resin base are integrally injection molded in a cavity. CONSTITUTION:Skin material 6 is wound up on a roller 2 from a roller 1 through the gap between a mold 7 and 8, and said skin material is fixed by the reverse rotation or the stop of said rollers 1 and 2. Then, by means of pushing the skin material 6 to the female mold 8 by using the male mold 7, tension is longitudinally applied to the skin material, and simultaneously the tension is transversely applied to the material 6 by means of fixing said material by a clamp 3, and further molten resin is injected, whereby the resin is integrally molded with the skin material. When the base resin is injected onto the rear surface of the skin material, tension has been applied to said skin material. Therefore, the wrinkles or resin flow marks on the surface of the skin material do not occur.

(Prior Art) Resin parts having a skin material are used for interior materials such as ceiling materials of vehicles such as automobiles. To manufacture such resin parts, for example, a method is used in which molten resin is injected into a mold cavity that has previously held a skin material, thereby fixing the skin material and resin base material together and molding them into a desired shape. ing.

However, in this method, when the base resin is injected into the cavity, the resin flows while contacting the skin material, so the skin material partially expands and contracts due to flow resistance of the resin.
This leaves wrinkles and flow patterns on the surface of the molded product, and
This will result in an appearance defect. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary for the skin material to be placed immersed in the mold surface, but conventionally, for example, a weight was hung from the bottom end of the skin material, and tension was applied to the skin material when the roof was closed. A similar device was used.

However, with this conventional equipment, productivity is poor because it takes time and effort to suspend the weight during molding, and it is not possible to continuously wind up the skin material, and the type of skin material and base resin and the size of the molded product However, the weight must be changed depending on the shape, etc., making the molding operation complicated and making it difficult to adequately deal with small variations in conditions.

Also, for example, when closing the mold, by pressing the continuous skin material and pulling the fc comb in one direction, force can be applied in multiple directions to wind the skin material in the cavity. Since the skin material is disposed along the molded product, it is possible to prevent wrinkles and flow patterns from occurring in the skin on the surface of the molded product. However, if the skin material is pulled only in the winding direction, it will shrink in the direction perpendicular to the winding direction and in the width direction, so the tension will not be applied uniformly to the skin material, which will cause deformation of the molded product, etc. When molding is performed using various skin materials, base resins, and molds, it is difficult to sufficiently prevent defects in appearance and deformation of the molded product, resulting in problems with molding. .

(Object of the Invention) The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems in the prior art, and its purpose is to improve the winding direction of the skin material and the winding direction while molding a resin part having a skin material. By applying tension in two axial directions perpendicular to multiple directions, there is no appearance defect such as wrinkles, resin flow patterns, or deformation on the surface of the skin material after molding, and it also has excellent workability. An object of the present invention is to provide a device for supplying a skin material to a mold.

A pair of unwinding and winding means for rewinding and supplying the continuous skin material in the form of a scroll between the pair of molds is rewinded by a normal drive means in response to the opening and closing operations of the molds. It usually consists of a rewinding shaft and a winding shaft, and a plurality of guide rollers and drive rollers can be used together as desired between the two shafts. Then, the skin material can be supplied and stopped at will according to the molding process.

As a means for applying tension in the longitudinal direction (winding direction) to the skin material inside the cavity in the molding process,
For example, the following methods may be mentioned. That is, by bending one or both ends of the skin material in the longitudinal direction so that the skin material held between the molds has a length that corresponds to the unevenness of the mold surface, or by applying a constant pressure to the mold. Any material may be used as long as it can apply tension to the skin material in the capacitance by pressing it against the mold, or by grasping it and moving it away from the mold. Preferred means include, for example, a movable roll,
Examples include a combination of a clamping tool and a roll-shaped pressing tool, a pressing tool held by elastic means, a pressing tool with a clamping tool, and a clamping tool with a movable cylinder.

Examples of tensioning tools for pulling the skin material in its width direction include clamping tools such as clamps, or a combination of the clamping tool and a piston.
It is also possible to use one or a small number of clamping parts, or to use a large number of clamping parts with short clamping parts.

When the skin material on both sides of the cavity is clamped and fixed for a certain length in multiple winding directions with clamps, and the skin material is pulled in multiple winding directions,
Since it is possible to prevent the width of the skin material on both sides of the cavity from shrinking and also to apply tension in the width direction, it is possible to apply tension to the skin material in two axial directions: the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the skin material. can.

Further, it is even better if a piston is attached to the clamping tool such as the above-mentioned clamp so that it can be moved in the width direction of the skin material, since it is possible to apply the tension for power interruption in the width direction of the skin material. In this case, a conventional device such as a hydraulic cylinder can be used as a device for moving the piston.

Furthermore, the above-mentioned clamps and other clamps may be provided on both sides of the mold at a distance from the mold, but in order to effectively use the width of the skin material, it is necessary to install recesses provided on both sides of the mold. It is best to fit it within the range.

It would be perfect if the tension applied to the skin material was detected by a sensor, the detected value was compared with a preset value, and the tension applying means was automatically operated according to the difference. At this time, if the skin material 6 is installed so as to fit into the gaps provided on both sides of the cavities of the above-mentioned metal enamels, or if both sides of the skin material 6 are clamped and fixed using the two-pull jig 3, the skin material 6 can be placed on the mold surface. When disposed along the winding direction, the tension applied in the winding direction prevents the width from shrinking in the direction perpendicular to the winding direction, that is, the width, and tension is also applied in the width direction.

The clamp jig, jl-3, is moved vertically in the drawing by the air cylinder 4, and can adjust the position where it clamps the skin 6 within the cavity, and can also be pulled out of the mold. In this embodiment, since both rolls 1 and 2 can rotate their rotational axes in the opposite direction, they also serve as means for applying tension in multiple directions when winding the surface material. It may be provided separately. Further, when applying tension to the skin material using one of the rotation shafts of the rolls 1 and 20, the skin material 6 near the other roll may be clamped and fixed with a clamp or the like. Furthermore, the tension applied to the skin material 6 in multiple winding directions and in the width direction may be measured, and the movements of the rotation shafts of the rolls 1 and 2 may be automatically controlled based on this measurement.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the device for supplying the skin material to the mold of the present invention is perpendicular to the winding direction of the skin material and the winding direction when molding a resin part having the skin material. Since tension can be applied in the direction and the tension can be adjusted freely, the skin material is placed along the mold surface when the mold is closed, and the tension is applied uniformly to the skin material. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a resin part having an excellent appearance without causing appearance defects such as wrinkles, flow patterns or deformation of the resin on the surface of the skin material when resin is injected into the cavity. Furthermore, compared to the case of using a conventional tension applying device using one sheet, the skin material can be continuously wound and molded, and various modifications, combinations, and arrangements of the tension applying means are possible. Therefore, it is applicable to various skin materials, base resins, and molds, and it is also possible to quickly respond to changes in raw materials, molding conditions, etc. In addition, compared to a device for supplying skin material to a mold that applies tension only in the winding direction, the appearance of the skin material is further improved, and there is less deformation after molding, improving the efficiency of molding work and the quality of the product. It has a great effect on improvement.
