Conventionally, in order to form this uneven pattern, either an embossing method or an engraving method has been adopted, but either method has the following drawbacks and is not preferable. In other words, in the embossing method, a pattern is created on a plate-shaped fabric by heating and softening the fabric and pressing a template with a desired uneven pattern onto the fabric.
Products molded using this embossing method have the disadvantage that they soften when exposed to high temperatures such as midsummer sunlight and deform as they try to return to their original dough state. On the other hand, with the engraving method, the surface of the fabric is engraved one by one using a carving machine, making it possible to obtain excellent products that do not deform even at high temperatures. etc. are bacteria-prone. An object of the present invention is to provide a new method for molding plastic products that eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional methods as described above.

That is, the present invention focuses on the fact that when a product molded by the embossing method is heated, it has the property of returning to its original dough state.
By cutting out the protrusions of the dough formed by the embossing method and heating and softening it again, recesses of a desired shape are formed on the surface of the dough. Advance,
The present invention will be specifically explained using illustrated embodiments. 1st
The figure shows the first step of the present invention, and the reference numeral 1 in the figure is a plate-shaped plastic material. As the fabric 1, thermoplastic plastics such as acrylic, vinyl chloride, polyethylene, and tortoiseshell are used. Reference numeral 2 denotes a template for molding the dough 1, and the template 2 is provided with an uneven pattern 2a.

The uneven pattern 2a provided on the template 2 is such that a pattern opposite to the uneven pattern to be formed on the product to be manufactured is formed on the surface of the fabric 1. 3 is a press plate disposed above the dough 1 so as to be movable up and down.

In this first step, the heated and softened plastic material 1 is inserted into the recess of the template 2, and embossing is performed from above. Then, as shown in FIG. 2, the dough 1 is cured with protrusions la formed on the surface thereof. In the second step, the dough 1 taken out from the template 2 is cut through a planer-shaped cutting machine to cut out the protrusions la on the surface of the dough.

Then, the dough 1 becomes a flat plate as shown in FIG. In this case, the surface of the cloth 1 from which the convex portions la have been removed may be polished using a polishing machine. The third step is a step of heating and softening the dough 1 cut into a flat plate shape again. That is, when the fabric 1 from which the protrusions la have been removed is heated, the fabric 1 tries to return to its flat shape before embossing, causing deformation. As a result, the portion where the convex portion la is cut out is concavely depressed from the surface of the fabric 1 to form a concave portion lb, and a desired uneven pattern is formed on the surface of the fabric 1. The dough 1 in this state is in its original shape and will not be deformed any further, so it is cooled and hardened to form a product. As shown in the above examples,
Since the molding method of the present invention restores the fabric to its original shape by heating and softening it a second time, the product of the present invention does not deform even when exposed to high temperatures.

In addition, the process of the present invention is simple and easy to automate, such as embossing and cutting, so compared to conventional engraving methods, work efficiency is greatly improved, and high-quality products can be produced in large quantities at low cost. can be manufactured. In particular, with the engraving method of casing, it was very time-consuming to manufacture a bowl-shaped item with a large hollowed out shape because the part to be removed during the engraving became large, but according to the present invention, the mold Manufacturing can be carried out efficiently by simply cutting the pressed dough using a planer-like machine. In addition, in the present invention, polishing is performed in the second step, and heat softening is performed in the third step until the fine details on the fabric are melted away, giving the patterned part a luster that could not be obtained with conventional engraving methods. There is also the effect of causing Note that it is also possible to further engrave the uneven portions of the product formed according to the present invention, and by doing so, extremely delicate patterns can be easily formed.
