Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at simplifying component parts, by disposing a permanent magnet between a pair of two outer races which are obtained by being axially bisplit, and as well by holding magnetic fluid between the inner edges of magnetic pole plates abutting against the outer surface of the outer race and an inner race. CONSTITUTION:An outer race 2 press-fitted in an outer cylinder 1 is composed of a pair of outer split rings 2a, 2b which are obtained by being axially bisplit, and a ring-like permanent magnet 3 disposed between the pair of outer split rings 2a, 2b, and several balls 6 held by a holder 5 are disposed between the outer race 1 and an inner race 4.
