に硬質の粒体を投射し、タイル素地表面に凹凸面形状を
施す陶磁器タイルの製造方法に関するものである。従来
、陶磁器タイルの乾式製造方法は、可塑性原料である粘
土に骨材として非可塑性原料である礫石、陶石等と媒溶
原料である長石類を調合し、当該調合物に加水したもの
を粉砕機で微粉砕しプイルタープレスで脱水したり、又
粘土質系の原土を粉砕機で微粉砕して調合し、当該調合
物に加水し土練機で混練して坏土を得た後、坏土を乾燥
させ粉砕機で微粉砕し、含水率8%程度に調整した粉粒
体を金型に投入し、フリクションプレスによって加圧成
形する成形工程と、成形されたタイlし素地をパレット
に塔載した上で焼成台車に積み込み、当該焼成台車を焼
成窯に導入通過させることによりタイル素地を焼成する
焼成工程と全連続的に行なうことを基本工程としている
ものであるが、陶磁器タイルの性質上成形工程の段階で
タイル素地に異物が混入したり、又タイル素地の表面に
あくが浮き出たり或はタイル素地全焼成台車へ積み込ん
だり焼成台車から積み降したりする際にタイル素地の角
部を欠損する等の原因により製品の歩留が悪く、具体的
には約85%程度が完成品となるものの残り約15%程
度は不良品として排除されるものである。本発明は前記
諸点に鑑み、タイル素地の表面に硬質の粒体全投射して
タイル素地の表面を不規則な凹凸面形状に加工すること
によりタイル素地の表面の異物やあく全削除すると共に
タイル素地角部の欠損部分を判明不能にし、恰も自然石
の如くの表面形状を呈する陶磁器タイルの乾式製造方法
を提供せんとするものである。
