    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 光源と光源からの断続光と前記断続光を走査する走査手
    段と前記走査手段により走査された断続光の走査基準位
    置を検知する検知手段とを具備した走査光学装置におい
    て、前記走査手段により走査される以前に前記断続光の
    発光／非発光状態を検出する検出手段を設け、前記検出
    手段により前記断続光の異常状態を検出することを特徴
    とする異常検出方式。
