PURPOSE:To make crushed ice conveyable so efficiently with a simple structure, by mixing the crushed ice with water and making it into a fluid, while conveying it through a volute pump. CONSTITUTION:Crushed ice is stored inside a conveying device body 1 in advance, and a screw conveyor 4 is rotated by a motor 3 whereby the crushed ice is fed to a suction port 7 of a volute pump 6 while smashing it into proper pieces. Successively, the crushed ice is mixed with water out of an injection pipe 10, making it into a fluid, then it is fed to the volute pump 6 under pressure, and vonveyed up to a spot of destination inside a feed pipe 11 after passing through a check valve 9. At this time, a mixture ratio between the crushed ice and the water is adjusted by a flow regulating valve 12. According to this method, the crushed ice is conveyable efficiently with a simple structure.
