Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the running efficiency of a tanker by housing a bag made of synthetic resin in the oil hold of the oil tanker to form an inner tank, and accommodating pure water and the like in the inner tank, and enabling to transport the pure water and the like without contamination due to the remnant oil of crude oil. CONSTITUTION:A foldable bag 7 made of synthetic resin is housed in an oil hold of a tanker formed by an upper deck 1, a bulkhead 2 and a bottom plate 3 to form an inner tank. Pure water or the like is supplied into the inner tank from a water injection pipe 15 through a pipe 11 to accommodate it. The pure water such as drinking water etc. can be carried without contacting with oil, and the pure water or the like can be carried in going of the tanker and the oil can be carried in returning and therefore it is possible to carry out the effective running of the tanker.

In this case, for example, on outbound voyages from oil-consuming countries such as Japan to the Middle East, the ship is empty, but due to its draft, seawater is normally injected into the oil tank by closing it with a ballast. However, the seawater after use is contaminated with oil, so if it is discharged without separating the oil and water, there is a troublesome problem of causing 71η ocean pollution.

For this reason, in Japan, new ships built since 1981 are required to be equipped with separate pallast tanks (tanks that cannot contain crude oil).

On the other hand, the lack of water resources has become a very serious problem in oil-producing countries in the Middle East. At a meeting of petroleum ministers from six countries in the Middle East in 1981, a resolution was adopted to import 1 billion tons of water from Europe and 200 million tons from the Far East, and each country also imported tankers. Plans are being studied to transport water during the outbound voyage. In this case, if a tanker is used, based on the operation status of tankers in Japan, the crude oil tank will be 100 million tons, and the separated pallast tank will be 20 million tons to 40 million tons.
.. It is estimated that it will be possible to transport 50 million tons of water. In addition, the price of water transported in crude oil tanks is 27% per ton.
It is said that the cost ranges from 0 to 400 yen, and drinking water transported in separate palust tanks is a valuable item that costs several times this price.

1 is a plan view of an oil tank of an oil tanker (viewed from the deck), FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along line A--A in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a partially enlarged view. In the diagram, 1 is the deck, 2 is the oil tank bulkhead, and 3
numeral 4 indicates the bottom of the oil tank, numeral 4 indicates a working opening provided on the deck, numeral 5 indicates its lid, and numeral 6 indicates a bolt/nut for fixing the lid. The oil tank 7 has a tank outer skin 8 made of synthetic resin, a tank inner skin 9 made of synthetic resin, a nozzle fixing laminated part 10, and a liquid injection/drainage pipe 1.
1. lla is a liquid injection/drainage nozzle of the pipe 11. 12 is a blind plug provided in the nozzle, 13 is a sealing material, and 14 is an air vent. Since one section of the oil tank is quite large, it is divided into four sections in this embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to this number of sections.

Remove the lid 5 and insert the oil tanks 7 made of synthetic resin made of double-layered membrane through the working opening 4 in a contracted state leaning towards the liquid injection and draining pipe 11, and then place the oil tank in a predetermined place. The bags are hung and inflated by blowing air through the nozzle lla, and in this state they fit into their respective predetermined positions as shown in FIG. Then, the water injection pipe 15 is inserted into the four-piece nozzle lla, and at the same time, the air vent 14 is opened and water is poured.Water 16 is injected into the oil tank from the liquid injection hole 11b, and the tank is filled with water so that no air remains. Thereafter, a blind stopper 12 made of rubber or synthetic resin is press-fitted and electrically sealed with a sealant 13. The air vent 14 is also treated in exactly the same way. Thereafter, water is poured into the oil tank so that there is no gap, and the first working phase opening 4 is closed with the lid 5. The reason why the tank inside the oil tank is double-layered is for safety reasons, as it can easily break if it is heavy. Of course, it does not go against the gist of the present invention even if it is made on top of the double u.

In this way, when the tanker enters a port in the Middle East region, cut off the liquid injection and drainage nozzle lla, open the air vent 14, insert the suction pipe (not shown) into the four-piece liquid injection and drainage nozzle lla, and pump water at the same time with the pump. Geru. After pumping up, air is introduced between the tank and the partition wall to compress the tank inside the oil tank, and the oil tank is pulled out through the working opening 4 and removed to return the inside of the oil tank to its original state. After that, one cycle ends when the crude oil is loaded into oil tanks, transported, enters the port of the consumer country, and unloads the crude oil. Further, by inserting the oil tank inner tank 7 into the oil tank in the same manner as described above, water can be loaded again.

In the above embodiment, a double bag made of synthetic resin is used, or if necessary, a single bag made of rubber material #1 may be used to make it into an accordion-shaped expandable bag. As is obvious from the above explanation, in the present invention, there is no particular restriction on the material of the synthetic resin membrane of the tank inside the oil tank, and it is possible to use com (1, later), and if it is non-water permeable, com or Of course, it is also possible to use

The present invention is most suitable for converting and transporting crude oil and other clear liquids, and has the excellent effect of converting the liquid in an oil tank safely, inexpensively, and with relatively simple operations. Further, according to the present invention, a useful liquid such as drinking water can be used as a ballast by utilizing an empty oil tanker, and can be maintained in a 16-section state without coming into contact with residual oil of crude oil, and
It can be transported without contamination and is extremely suitable as a method of transporting drinking water, especially to oil-producing countries. Furthermore, this system does not suffer from the conventional problems of discharging and disposing of oily mixture from pallast water, and is extremely effective from the viewpoint of preventing marine pollution.
