第1図は、従来のインクミスト除去装置の一実施例であ

からインク液滴5を噴射するが、記録紙2上でインク液
滴5の衝突の際インクミストが発生する。このインクミ
ストによる汚れを防止するために、ヘッドカバー6を設
け、ヘッド3を収納するとともに、その開口端を記録紙
2に近接した位置まで延ばし、ヘッドカバー6にインク
ミスト吸引部7を接続してヘッドカバー6内に浮遊する

流11の流れによって運ばれるので、ヘッド3の周囲が
非常に汚れる。この場合インクノズル12に面した部分
にも多くのインクが付着するため、インクノズル12が
ふさがれインク噴射が不安定になったり、噴射方向が一
方向に曲がったシする。又、この状態で放置すると、イ
ンクノズル12の目ずまi助長することにもつながり、
ヘッド3の信頼性の点からは、好ましい状態ではなかっ

ッドが汚れることなく、インクミストを収納し、ヘッド
の信頼性を維持することを可能としたインクミスト除去

発明の構成
