Abstract

PURPOSE:To block the entrance of rain water, dust and wind into a passenger's compartment and as well to enhance the workability, by extending the upper end of a sealing screen so that it is secured to an inside seal member attached along the top end flange of an inner panel. CONSTITUTION:An inside seal member 13 is attached along the top end flange 11 of an inner panel 5 to which a sealing screen 21 and a finisher 23 as a door trim are attached, and the top end 23a of the finisher 23 is fitted in an U-like groove 17 in a finisher clamping section 21. The top end 23 of the sealing screen 21 is extended and is secured to the flange-like clamping section 15 of the inside seal member 13. With this arrangement an access hole 3 and the top end flange 11 are sealed by the screen 21 so that the door inside M and the passenger's compartment are isolated from each other.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, as a mounting structure for a ceiling screen, there is one shown in FIG. 1, for example. (Refer to page 93 of "Passenger Car Body" in Volume 13 of Automotive Engineering Complete Book, Sankaido Edition) As shown in Figure 1, the inner panel 5 of the door 1 or A7 side 27 has a working hole 3 for attaching functional parts. The working hole 3 is closed and sealed by a sealing screen 21. This prevents rainwater flowing from the wind panel 9 (glass) or the like or dust from entering the vehicle interior through the working hole 3. The material of the sealing screen 21 that closes the working hole 3 is a vinyl chloride polyethylene sheet, and the thickness is about 0.08 to 0.1111 mm.
The one of rank m is used. To attach the thin sealing screen 21 to the inner panel 5, for example, as shown in FIG. This is done by pressing and contacting each other while adjusting the position.

As mentioned above, the ceiling screen 21 is in the form of a thin sheet and has no stiffness, making it very difficult to handle, positioning is very troublesome, and bonding requires nerves, which is undesirable in terms of workability. Also, the sealing screen 21 is used to ensure sealing of the working hole 3, and does not extend to the contact area between the upper end 23a of the finisher 23 and the upper end flange 11 of the inner panel 5. There is a problem in that dust and rivers can enter the vehicle interior through the gap between the contact parts.

The sealing screen 21 (waterproof screen) that closes the working hole 3 is made of vinyl chloride, polyethylene, or the like, and is adhered to the inch panel 5 with an adhesive 25. In addition, the upper end 2 of the ceiling screen 21
1 a is extended and fixed to the flange holding portion 15 of the inside seal member 13 . As a result, the working hole 3 and the upper end flange 11 are sealed by the sealing screen 21. Although the fixing means for the upper end 21a of the ceiling screen 21 is of an adhesive type using adhesive, it is also possible to use a welding type using high frequency.

In the ceiling screen configured in this way,
The flange holding part 15 of the inside seal member 13 is connected to the inverted U-shaped groove 15a of the holding part 15, and
When the sealing screen 21 is forcibly pushed in and installed at a position facing the inside seal part 4113, the hanging ceiling screen 21 is aligned with the inner panel 5 without wrinkles at the same time as the inside seal part 4113 is installed. Next, inner panel 5
The sealing screen 21 is adhered by pressing the sealing screen 21 against the adhesive 25 previously applied along the periphery of the screen. After adhering the ceiling screen 21, finisher 2
