The front half 12a is integrally formed from a steel plate in a cylindrical shape, the diameter of the half 12a being gradually increased from its front end to its rear end. 【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] (1)前半体と後半体とから外箱を構成してなる消音器
において、前記前半体は一体成形された筒状をなし、前
記後半体は軸方向に沿って分割された複数の成形吸音材
からなる分割体を接合してなることを特徴とする内燃機
関用消音器。
