Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain efficiently a thick waterproof sheet without shrinkage in a thick raw fabric sheet, by using an apparatus having two titled press driving rolls in an asphalt melting tank and squeeze rolls placed between two wire nets between the above-mentioned rolls. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of the upper and lower press driving rolls 2 and 2' aae provided in an asphalt melting tank 8 filled with asphalt (A) at a switable interval, and the front rolls 2 in the forward direction of a synthetic fiber nonwon raw fabric sheet 1 are positioned above the surface of the asphalt (A). The rear rolls 2' are embedded in the asphalt (A), and both rolls are titled. Wire nets 3 are wound around the above-mentioned rolls 2 and 2', and two wire nets are nipped between the above-mentioned rolls to provide a pair of squeeze rolls 4. The thick raw fabric sheet 1 is dipped in the asphalt (A) and moved while hold and nipped between the wire nets 3, and impregneated efficiently and economically with the asphalt (A) thoroughly. In the process, the unevenness of the mesh formed in the wire nets 3 presses the raw fabric sheet 1, and prevents the shrinkage in the width direction of the raw fabric sheet 1 by heat.

Asphalt sheets, a type of waterproof material conventionally known as asphalt thiefing, are made from waste paper or waste cotton, or from short synthetic fibers. Asphalt was impregnated and molded with asphalt juice roof ink. As this asphalt sealing is about 1 inch thick, it is weak against tension, etc., and cannot follow the cracks in the underlying concrete, causing it to tear.To form a complete waterproof layer, two or three layers are required. It was required to apply multiple layers.

In order to eliminate these material disadvantages and troublesome work disadvantages, we use endless long-fiber synthetic fibers and use the needle punch method or glue to create a nonwoven fabric with a thickness of about 6 mm. Asphalt sheets were developed by impregnating this with asphalt. This asphalt sheet is 3 to 4 times thicker than the conventional asphalt sheeting mentioned above, and because it uses a raw material formed by entangling endless fibers, it is strong against tension, and the base concrete Not only is it expected to be completely waterproof because it has characteristics that allow it to sufficiently follow large cracks that occur in the layer, but it is also thick enough to achieve the purpose of waterproofing even when it is pasted. It is. but,
It is not easy to completely impregnate a thick non-woven fabric with high viscosity asphalt, and as a result of intensive research into this issue, the applicant used a roll with needle-like protrusions on the tip to impregnate the surface of the non-woven fabric. We have developed a method in which asphalt is impregnated by opening holes, or by using a deep asphalt melting tank and utilizing temperature and liquid pressure differences. However, these methods were slow and did not have the desired production efficiency, and the production process was complicated. In addition, in the case of these methods, since the raw nonwoven fabric is stretched during the asphalt impregnation process, the shrinkage in the width direction is large, for example, 2q.
In order to obtain asphalt of [nrJ], a raw material approximately 2.2 m wide is required, which is extremely uneconomical.

The present invention was made in order to eliminate the inefficient and uneconomical manufacturing method described above, and uses a relatively shallow asphalt melting tank. A thick non-woven fabric material is produced by installing two pressing drive rolls 1, and winding the entire length between each of these rolls, with two wire meshes sandwiched between the pressing drive rolls, and a pair of squeezing rolls. An asphalt waterproof sheet is manufactured by inserting and sandwiching a fabric sheet between wire meshes, moving the wire meshes by driving and rotating a suppression roll, and thereby impregnating the raw sheet with asphalt.

As described above, in the method of the present invention, the nonwoven fabric sheet (1) is immersed in molten asphalt (A) while being sandwiched between the wire meshes (3), so that the unevenness of the mesh formed on the wire mesh (3) is The original fabric sheet (1) is held down to prevent shrinkage in the width direction of the original fabric due to heat, and the original fabric sheet (1) is held in the length direction in order to be moved in the tank while being held by gold A (4). The present invention also prevents the suppression drive roll (2) from elongating.

By providing a squeeze roll (4) in the middle of (2)', even if the raw fabric/-Nil is thick around 600 mm, the raw fabric is held between the wire mesh (3) and the asphalt A
It penetrates into the layer and is pressed down by the squeezing roll (4), and this force is released and the original sheet restores its original shape, so this action promotes asphalt impregnation and completes the core of the nonwoven fabric. Because it is impregnated with water, the product has good dimensional stability.

The temperature of the molten asphalt was maintained at 155°C. The asphalt melting tank is formed to a depth of 35 crn, and each roll is a 10 (7) (7) diameter press roller, which is wound with a stainless wire mesh, and the squeeze roll is 5 ctn (10 crn) in diameter. The pressure was set at 30 mm, and the feeding speed of the wire mesh by the pressure drive roll was set at 12 m and %. The asphalt sheet obtained in this way had no shrinkage in the width direction, and the edges on both ends were only cut off by 2.5 ctn.
It was possible to form a finished product that met the 1J2m standard. When this asphalt sheet was cut and its cross section was observed using an electron microscope, it was found that the asphalt was completely impregnated to the core.
