Claims (1)
度の基準ガスに接する基準電極と第1酸素層に接する測
定電極とが配設され、両電極間の酸素分圧比に応じた電
圧を出力する第1センサ部と、測定電極を覆い測定電極
の囲りに第1酸素層を画成するとともに該第1酸素層と
被測定ガスとの間の酸素分子の拡散量を制限する第1酸
素層囮成部材と、ポンプ電極間に供給される流し込み電
流の値に応じて第1゛酸素層の酸素分圧を決定する第1
ポンプ部と、を有する第1酸素センサと、酸素イオン伝
導性の固体電解質を挾んで、一定酸素濃度の基準ガスに
接する基準電極と第2酸素層に接する測定電極とが配設
され、両電極間の酸素分圧比に応じた電圧を出力する第
2センサ部と、測定電極を覆い測定電極の囲りに第2酸
素層を画成するとともに該第2酸素層と基準ガスとの間
の酸素分子の拡散量を制限する第2酸素層画成部材と、
ポンプ電極間に供給される流し込み電流の値に応じて第
2酸素層の酸素分圧を決定する第2ポンプ部と、を有す
る第2酸素センサと、前記第1センサ部の出力電圧が所
定値となるように第1ポンプ部に流し込み電流を供給す
るとともに、この流し込み電流の値を検出する第1電流
値検出手段と、前記第2センサ部の出力電圧が所定値と
なるように第2ポンプ部に流し込み電流を供給するとと
もに、この流し込み電流の値を検出する第2電流値検出
手段と、第1電流値検出手段の出力と第2電流値検出手
段の出力の比を演算し、この比に基づいて被測定ガスの
酸素濃度を検出する酸素濃度検出手段と、を備えたこと
