%の範囲が好適であることを確認している(3)発泡処
理温度 90℃以下の低温では発泡ポリスチレン樹脂ビーズの発
泡が不均一になり易く、また150°Cを超える高温で
はカーペットに悪影響を及ぼし、裏打ち発泡層が収縮す
るため90〜150℃と定めた。

よる二次裏打ちが不要となる。また−次裏打ち時に発泡
性樹脂ビーズを発泡させない、つまり未発泡状態の裏打
ち発泡層を成形加工時に加熱発泡させる(第4図参照)
と、諸機能を発揮させるための工程簡略化も可能である
。かくして得られた裏打ちカーペットは繰返し外部応力
による変形回復力が大きくて緩衝性に富む内装部材とな
り得るものである。したがって自動車、主に乗用車の床
材、ドアサイド材、天井材等のような車両内装材のほか
、建築内装材としても好適である。
