Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ピストン上面に対向するシリンダヘッドの下面に部分的
    に凹部を設け、ピストンが上死点にある時に該ピストン
    上面とシリンダヘッド下面との間に上記凹部からなる主
    燃焼室と微小間隙のスキッシュゾーンとを形成すると共
    に、上記スキッシュゾーンに吸気ポートを、主燃焼室に
    排気ポートを夫々設け、且つ吸気ポートから導入される
    気流によってシリンダ内にスワールを生じさせるように
    したエンジンの燃焼室において、上記シリンダへシト下
    面におけるスキッシュゾーンのスワール上流部に対応す
    る位置に主燃焼室から所定圧離隔てて副燃焼室を設け、
    該副燃焼室に点火プラグを備えると共に、該副燃焼室と
    主燃焼室との間のスキッシュゾーンに副燃焼室からの燃
    焼ガスをスワール方向に沿って主燃焼室に導くガイドチ
    ャンネルを設けたことを特徴とするエンジンの燃焼室。
