    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シリンダブロックの後端面に取付けられてミッションケ
    ースを連結させるエンドプレートのシリンダブロック下
    端より下方への垂下部にオイルパンの後部が近接されて
    いると共に、上記エンドプレートの垂下部における内周
    部が外周部に対して後方に段付状に突出されて、この段
    付部の上方にオイルパン後部のフランジが位置する構成
    において、該フランジの下方におけるエンドプレートの
    段付部に後方への円弧状膨出部を形成すると共に、オイ
    ルパンの後部側面をこの膨出部に沿って後方に膨出する
    円弧面としだを特徴とする車両用エンジン。
