Claims (1)
光にする第１のレンズと、この平行光を偏波面保存ファ
イバに集束し入射する第２のレンズとを備えてなる半導
体レーザモジュールにおいて、前記第１及び第２のレン
ズ間にその光軸口りに回転可能に偏光板を配置し、この
偏光板を回転させることにより前記半導体レーザ光の偏
波面と前記偏波面保存ファイバの偏波面保存方向との回
転方向における微小角度誤差を補正できるようにしたこ
とを特徴とする半導体レーザモジュール。A semiconductor laser module comprising a semiconductor laser, a first lens that converts light emitted from the semiconductor laser into parallel light, and a second lens that focuses the parallel light into a polarization-maintaining fiber. A polarizing plate is rotatably disposed between the first and second lenses at the optical axis thereof, and by rotating this polarizing plate, the polarization plane of the semiconductor laser beam and the polarization plane preservation direction of the polarization preservation fiber are changed. A semiconductor laser module characterized in that it is capable of correcting minute angular errors in the direction of rotation.
