路1からの出力受信時に該燃料残量検出回路1によって
所定時間毎に検出される燃料残量の平均値を逐次算出す
ると共に、前記燃料消費量検出回路5からの出力受信時
に、該出力受信直前における前記燃料残量の平均値から
、該出力受信後における前記燃料消費量検出回路5から
の所定時間当りの燃料消費量の積算値を差引いた燃料残
量を逐次算出する演算回路2と、車両の速度を検出する
車速検出回路7と、前記燃料残量検出回路1からの最新
の燃料残量と前記演算回路2からの燃料残量の平均値又
は燃料残量とを比較し、両者の差が所定範囲外でかつ前
