Note that the slave stations IA and IB are fixed stations, and in some cases, wired terminals may be further connected to these slave stations IA and IB. Further, the slave station IN is a mobile station. Recently, even in such systems, a dialing function has been added to each slave station IA~IN', and due to the transmission frequency band of the wireless equipment installed at each station, in many cases the dialed number to be dialed can be transmitted by voice. After converting it into a frequency signal, it is transmitted and received between each station. The dial signal, which is converted into an audio frequency signal, is further converted into a DC dial pulse by a signal converter 6 installed in the master station 3, and then automatically transmitted. Through the operation of the automatic exchange 2 based on DC dial pulses sent to the exchange 2, exchange connections are made between each slave station IA to IN and the telephones 5A to 5N, or to an automatic exchange of another system using a relay line.

0 However, in the old system, a dialing function was not added to each slave station IA to IN, and the exchange connection depended on manual exchange, so it was necessary to switch such a one-day system to the automatic exchange system described above. In some cases, it becomes necessary to update all equipment or refurbish all old equipment.
In any case, the problem is that the required cost and man-hours are large. The present invention has an object of solving the above-mentioned problems at once, and in the above-mentioned wireless relay switching system, includes a first call detector that detects a call signal from a dialing slave station and activates an automatic exchange; a second call detector that detects a call signal from a slave station that cannot dial; a number setter that is activated by the detection power of the second call detector and sends a dial number of the switchboard circuit; a decoder that converts a dial signal sent from the dialing slave station into a dial number, and a dial pulse corresponding to a given dial number based on the output of this decoder or the number setter, which is generated and sent to the exchange. A dial sender is provided between the master station and the exchange, and an extremely rational radio relay enables the combined use of a slave station having a dialing function and a slave station not having this function via an automatic exchange. It provides a signal conversion method for a switching system.

11 in the figure is a signal conversion device to which the present invention is applied,
The configuration of the signal converter 6 shown in FIG. 1 is subdivided.
In addition, each slave station IA to IN is assigned a calling signal using an audio frequency signal of a different frequency depending on whether or not it has a dialing function. For example, a dialing slave station (hereinafter referred to as a dialing slave station) is The ratio is that of a slave station that cannot make dial calls (hereinafter referred to as a non-dial slave station).

Now, when the slave stations IA and IB are dial slave stations and the slave station IN is a non-dial slave station, when dial slave station IA modulates a radio wave and transmits a calling signal, this is received by master station 3. The received output R is given to the signal converter 11. The first call detector 13 of the signal conversion device 1 1 detects the call signal fa using a radio wave generator or the like and generates an output, thereby closing the DC loop circuit of the bidirectional trunk 12 and switching the automatic exchange 2. to start. The automatic exchange 2 prepares for reception by starting up, and upon completion of the preparation, a dial tone is given to the transmission input T of the master station 3 via the bidirectional trunk 12,
This time, a radio wave modulated by a dial tone is transmitted from the master station 3, and this is received by the dial slave station IA.

When the dial slave station IA transmits the desired dial signal by receiving the dial tone, this is the reception output R of the master station 3.
The decoder 14 detects the dial signal, which is given to the decoder 4 and represents each digit of the dial number using different two-frequency combinations, using a wave generator or the like, converts it into an output corresponding to the dial number, and then outputs the dial signal. The dial sender 15, which is composed of a pulse generation circuit, a counter, a DC loop opening/closing circuit, etc., is connected to the decoder 14.
Based on the output of , a dial pulse corresponding to the given dial number is generated, and the DC dial pulse is sent to the automatic exchange 2 via the bidirectional trunk 12 by opening and closing the DC loop circuit.

The number setter 17 has the number of the switchboard circuit set in advance in a fixed memory or the like, and gives this dial number to the dial sender 15 when activated. Then, the dial sender 15 sends out a DC dial pulse corresponding to the dial number of the switchboard circuit, which activates the automatic switchboard 2 and connects the circuit of the bidirectional trunk 12 to the manual relay board 4 shown in FIG. do.

Therefore, after that, a call is made between the non-dial slave station IN and the operator at the manual relay stand 4. At the request of the non-dial slave station IN, the switchboard dials a predetermined party from the manual relay stand 4, and then switches to the automatic switchboard. The communication between the non-dial slave station IN and the other party is carried out via the relay station 2 and the manual relay stand 4.

It should be noted that upon termination of the call, each of the slave stations IA to IN transmits a restoration signal using an audio frequency signal, thereby restoring the automatic exchange 2 or disconnecting the connection at the relay stand 4. In addition, it is optional to use signals that simultaneously transmit several frequencies for call signals, recovery signals, etc., and for dial signals, in addition to using a touch tone dial, various types of signals can be selected as long as they generate signals from the same aircraft depending on the purpose. It can be used as In addition, it is also free to use a facsimile, teleprinter, etc. in conjunction with the telephones 5A to 5N. As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, a wireless relay switching system can be operated smoothly even when dial slave stations and non-dial slave stations are mixed or used together, and new equipment can be added to old equipment. Because it is easy to perform, it is possible to switch over to new equipment one by one without having to update old equipment all at once.
A remarkable effect can be obtained in terms of reducing the required costs and installation work hours.
