Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an easy mooring operation by laying mooring ropes, whose ends are engaged in locking relation with winches and which are provided with a lump-shaped mooring means at their intermediate portion, over a crane arm capable of being elevated/lowered and swung, and by causing the lump-shaped mooring means to engage with the bit of a hull to be moored. CONSTITUTION:Mooring ropes 2 and 4 are provided with a lump-shaped mooring means 1 at their intermediate portion while their other ends are engaged in locking relation with winches 3 and 52, respectively. The mooring ropes 2 and 4 are laid over the end of a crane arm 51 which can be swung elevated/lowered around a post 50, while the lump-shaped mooring means 1 is engaged in locking relation below the end of the crane arm 51. A hull to be moored B' is brought near the apparatus, and the crane arm is timely swung and elevated or lowered so as to allow the lump-shaped mooring member 1 to fall down by loosening the winch 52 when the bit of the hull to be moored b' reaches directly below the mooring member 1. Subsequently, the winch 3 is wound up. Thus, the hull B' can be moored by such an easy operation.

■When the mooring system (100) reaches the partner B side by following the thin clay rope, tie this mooring system (10G) to the bit (101) (or bollard) on the partner B side as shown in the figure. ■One end of the mooring system (100), bit (101) (or bollard) K1, and the other end is the mooring winch on the ship A side (
102), so the necessary amount is wound up and the work on the bow section is completed. In this way, the mooring system (100) is applied not only to the bow and stern but also to the center part. Moreover, the above mooring work is normally carried out using wire rope as a mooring system (100), but although this wire rope is simple and easy to handle, several cases of breakage occur on a single ship every year, and the mooring The work is extremely dangerous. Therefore, automation of mooring work has become an urgent issue in terms of streamlining the work and safety of the mooring crew.

First, the crane (5) is turned as shown in the same figure, and the mooring device (1) is hoisted up to a predetermined height so that the attached objects of the earth carrier B do not come into contact with it, as shown in FIG. As shown in Figure 4, when the earth carrier B approaches and the triple bit (10) comes within the swing range of the crane (5), the mooring device (
1) is dropped backwards from the bit (101). Then, the mooring device (1) is completely snapped as shown in Fig. 5. (101)
Once the mooring system (2) is rolled in using the mooring winch (3) as shown in Fig. 6, the mooring work for one side is completed. At this time, the hoisting rope (4)
Leave it loose. Similar operations are performed at other locations on the same side, and the entire mooring work is completed as shown in Figure 7. Also, when a ship is moored to a quay using such a mooring device, the same operation as described above can be carried out in a good manner.
