Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an oil from being dripped when the combustion is terminated and make a substantial reduction of odor in case of diminishing flame by a method wherein an accumulator is arranged in the midway of the oil feeding pipe through a three-way valve. CONSTITUTION:Normally, a three-way valve 17 is normally positioned during combustion in such a way as it may communicate the accumulator 16 with a suction side 19 of a fuel pump 7, and the accumulator 16 keeps a negative pressure under a negative pressure at the suction side 19 of the fuel pump 7. Thereafter, when the combustion is terminated, the fuel pump 7 is stopped and at the same time the three-way valve 17 is changed over to a position where the accumulator 16 is communicated with the oil feeding pipe 8. Therefore, a pressure remained at the discharging side of the fuel pump 7 is decreased in its pressure under a negative pressure in the accumulator 16 at once, a partial oil remained in the oil feeding pipe 8 and the nozzle 9 is flowed backward and suctioned into the accumulator 16.
