溶鋼を注湯し、水冷ドラムによって冷却させて連続的に
鋳片を鋳造する連続鋳造装置に於−いて、鋳片厚さ及び
幅より小さい板厚及び幅を有する鋼板製鋳片案内用ダミ
ーパーからなり、該ダミーバーの先端に切り欠きを設け
ると共に該先端部を断熱性及び弾力性材料で覆ったダミ
ーバーを水冷ドラム中立点より突出して配設したことを
特徴とする鋳片案内用ダミーバーをそなえた連続鋳造装
