Abstract

PURPOSE:To moderate impact load applied upon a plate at a stop position by projecting a roll over the transport surface of a transport conveyer to the fowward lower surface of a transported plate to float the plate above the transport surface and once reducing the transport speed. CONSTITUTION:When a plate 15 carried in a substantially erect posture along a transport conveyer 33 arrives just before a stop position, a piston rod 29 is expanded to pivot an arm 35 on a support shaft 34 counter-clockwise, and a support roll 36 is projected over the transport surface of transport conveyer 33 so that the forward lower surface of the plate 15 is suported by the support roll 36 and the plate 15 is floated above the transport surface to once reduce the transport speed.
