Claims (1)
燃機関の排気管内に設置すると共に該ケースの上流側端
部と下流側端部とを夫々排気管内に開口せしめて排気ガ
スいずれか一方の開口からケース内に流入し得るように
なし、該ケースのほぼ中間領域にはインジェクタを設置
してケース内に燃料を供給し得るようになし、機関吸気
系とケース上流側部分とを導管で接続し、前記導管には
機関の低および中負荷時に開弁した高負荷時に閉弁する
制御弁を設け、前記ケースの上流側開口には通常は閉鎖
されているが定期的に一定期間にわたり機関高負荷時に
開弁ず。 る開閉弁を設け、もって、閉弁時にはケース下゛流側開
口からケース内に排気ガスを導入せしめて排気ガスと改
質燃料との混合物を機関吸気系に添加するとともに、開
弁時にはケース上流側開口から排気ガス番ケース内に導
入して改質用触媒を再生し得るようにしたことを特徴と
する、改質用触媒の再生可能な内燃機関用改質燃料供給
