Claims

In an electromagnetic pump in which a piston is reciprocatably fitted in a cylinder enclosed in a coil, and a pumping action is performed by the reciprocating movement of the piston as the coil is excited and demagnetized, at least a portion of the cylinder is made of a shape memory alloy. An electromagnetic pump characterized in that a control member is provided to regulate a normal position of the piston.
