Claims

(1) In an electromagnetic pump in which a piston is reciprocatably fitted into a cylinder enclosed in a coil, and a pumping action is performed by the reciprocating movement of the piston as the coil is excited and demagnetized, the suction side of the cylinder has a coefficient of thermal expansion. 1. An electromagnetic pump characterized in that a thermostretchable member made of a material having a large diameter is provided, and a portion of the thermostretchable member is associated with a portion of the piston in a normal position.
