Traditionally, bolts, nuts, and PETs have been used to join architectural wall panels with the surface material still attached, but in order to use tightening tools, notches have been made in the panels, and rivet tools have been used. In addition, it is necessary to provide a hole for the tool, and the panel frame material must be large enough to accommodate tools, so there is a drawback that small frame materials cannot be used.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a panel that can be joined as is without making any notches or holes on the surface, and can be applied to any small frame material regardless of the size of the panel frame. An object of the present invention is to provide a joining method.

FIG. 1 shows a panel joining end, in which a vertical frame 2 of a panel 1 is made of square steel and a joining hole 3 is provided. FIG. 2 shows a joint hardware 4 made of a pipe with a diameter approximately equal to the diameter of this joining hole 3, and there are two narrow parts 5 and 6 having different widths in the longitudinal direction of the joint hardware.
When the joint hardware 4 is compressed in the longitudinal direction, it first buckles at the wide narrow part 5, bulges outward, and then buckles at the narrow narrow part 6. It will bulge out and be compressed in the length direction as a whole. Then, as shown in FIG.
As shown in Figures 4 and 5, both panels 1,
When 9 is brought into pressure contact, as the joint hardware 4 is compressed one after another at the rear of the vertical frame 2, the surface, which was smooth before the application of pressure as shown in Fig. 6, first becomes seated at a wide narrow part 5. The narrow portion 6 is bent to form a bulge 7 as shown in FIG. 7, and then the narrow portion 6 is buckled to form a bulge 8 as shown in FIG. As a result, the two panels 1 and 9 have their vertical frame 2 as shown in Figure 9.
The periphery of the joining hole 3 is the two bulges 7 and 8 mentioned above.
They are then held together and joined in a fixed state. In this way, just by pressing panels 1 and 9 from both sides,
The panels 1 and 9 can be joined by easily forming the bulges 7 and 8 on the joint hardware 4 and clamping and fixing the periphery of the joining hole 3 of the vertical frame 2, so there are no holes or cuts in the panel surface material. There is no need to create a notch, and the structure of the joint hardware 4 allows for easy expansion, so it can be applied to panel frames as well as 4-inserts, and can also be used for press-fitting work from the side of the panel even in places where the working space for the joining part is narrow. This has the advantage that there is no need for rough tightening, caulking, welding, etc., so the panel will not be damaged. In addition, the widths of the narrow parts 5 and 6 are made different, and the wider narrow part 5 is first bulged out, and then the narrower narrow part 6 is bulged out, so that the narrow part 6 can be fixed firmly. The position can be fixed. As described above, the present invention provides a joint hardware on each of the panel and the object to be joined, which has two narrow parts that buckle and form an outward bulge when subjected to a compressive force in the length direction. The joint metal fittings are buckled by pressing the panels and the objects to be joined to form two bulges, and these bulges close the periphery of the joining hole. Because it clamps, fixes, and joins panels, panels with surface materials attached can be joined as they are without creating notches or holes on the surface, and it has the advantage that it can be applied to small panel frames as well, and the joining method is simple. There is no risk of damaging the panel, and if the widths of the two narrow parts are made different and the two bulges are formed in sequence, there is an effect that the position where the panel is clamped and fixed can be fixed at a constant position.

[Claims] 1. A joint metal fitting having two narrow parts that buckles and forms an outward bulge when subjected to a compressive force in the length direction is provided on each of the panel and the object to be joined. By fitting into the joining hole and pressing the panels and the object to be joined, the joint hardware is buckled to form two bulges, and these bulges narrow the area around the joining hole. A panel joining method characterized by holding and fixing. 2. The width of the two narrow parts provided in the joint hardware in the longitudinal direction of the joint hardware is made different, and the bulging part is formed sequentially from the narrow part with the widest width in the longitudinal direction. The panel joining method described in scope 1.
