Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance of a heat roll to extend the life by forming a release layer of the heat roll with mixed materials of a perfluoroalkoxy resin and silicon carbide of 10-30% weight mixture ratio. CONSTITUTION:A release layer 33 consisting of a perfluoroalkoxy resin containg 10-30% weight ratio of silicon carbide is formed wth about 40mum thickness into a roll form around a core layer 31 and a primer layer 32 of a heat roll 3 having a heat source 30. By this constitution, the offset time up to exposure of the core layer 31 is about 125 hours and is extended considerably in comparison with a conventional offset time. Consequently, the life of the fixing roll is extended considerably, and expenses of maintenance are reduced.

ることができる効果があり、保守費の低減を図れるほど
の極めて実用的な効果が期待できる。
