At that time, if the light energy propagating inside the light guide could be branched out from the light guide during its propagation, the utilization efficiency of light energy could be further improved. There was no such optical branching means, which was inconvenient for non-Japanese people.

The second light guide rod 2 and the third light guide rod 3 are inserted, and the second light guide rod 2 is fixed with optical glue. The end of the second light guide rod 2 in the penetration hole is formed into an inclined surface 2q with respect to the axial direction of the first light guide rod, and the third light guide rod 3 is formed with an inclined surface 2q with respect to the axial direction of the first light guide rod. It has an inclined surface 3q opposite to the inclined surface 2o of No. 2. Further, the third light guide rod 3 is fitted into the through hole so as to be able to move forward and backward, and a groove 3b is provided at the upper end along the axial direction of the guide rod. When injecting optical oil into the gap d between the slope 2o of the second light guide rod 2 and the slope 3q of the third light guide rod 3, and moving the third light guide rod 3 forward and backward, Exhaust the air from the gap or introduce air into the gap, and
This makes it easy for the light guide rod to move forward and backward. In this way,
After injecting the optical oil into the gap d, when the third light guide lot 3 is pushed forward, the gap d becomes narrower and the level of the optical oil rises.
The gap becomes wider and the optical oil level decreases. The light that has been propagated in the direction of the arrow in the first light guide rod 1 is reflected by the inclined surface 20 of the second light guide rod 2 in the part of the gap that does not contain optical oil. The light travels in the direction of arrow B in the gap, and in the direction of arrow C in the area where optical oil is contained. At this time, the amount of light traveling in the direction of arrow B can be adjusted by the level of optical oil in the gap, and this adjustment can be adjusted by the insertion depth of the third light guide rod 3. 4 is a fourth light guide rod fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the light guide rod 1 so as to cover the fitting portion of the second light guide rod 2 or formed integrally with the second light guide rod; As mentioned above, arrow 1
The light branched in three directions is taken out through the fourth light guide lot 4, and transmitted to any desired location through a light guide cable (not shown) connected to the fourth light guide lot 1. Lighting and other use (11, 1, 〃, and 1 ------- The description of the I-, and according to the present invention, optical energy is effectively branched by an easy -to -create configuration. In addition, it is possible to provide an optical branching device that can adjust the amount of branched light.
