PURPOSE:To eliminate the use of a synchronizing circuit and to simplify the constitution of a subscriber line transmission circuit by storing the data given from a terminal to a digital exchange in a start-stop data style. CONSTITUTION:An asynchronous data digital exchange system comprises a transmission side data communication device 1, a reception side data communication device 3, digital subscriber circuits 2 and 4 constituting a digital exchange, and a network 5. An asynchronous data receiving circuit 11 of the device 1 receives the start-stop data from a terminal A.
