Abstract

A specified length mark is printed on the surface of the filamentous body 28 passing between a printing head 23 provided on the circumference of the marking wheel 21 and a guide roller 22 provided right therebelow. The printing head 23 which completed the printing rotates at a speed higher than the running speed of the filamentous body 28 together with the marking wheel 21, stops at a specified position and then, waits until the sequent control signal arrives.
