Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the parts number as well as prevent water from flowing into a pocket by extending the cover of the pocket to the outside of the coaming of the opening peripheral part of a pocket body, providing an air outlet in the cover as well as provide a communication port through the coaming. CONSTITUTION:A coaming 21 is provided on the opening peripheral part of a pocket body 2, and an engine hatch 24 being a cover is extended to the outside of the rear part 21a of the coaming 21. A flange part 24b and an air outlet 24d are drilled through said extended part 24a. Moreover, a communication port 21b for communicating the air outlet 24d with a housing chamber 1 is provided on the coaming 21 is astate where the communication port is offset with respect to the air outlet 24d. Accordingly, air enters from a suction side ventilator 7 into the housing chamber 1, is allowed to flow out from the air outlet 24d through the communication port 21b, allowing the inside of the housing chamber 1 to be ventilated. Further, water easily flows along the surface of a deck 6 even if the water enters the air outlet 24d due to flowing wave, etc., so that no water invades into the housing 1.

The inboard/external motor boat has a stern storage container 5 formed of a storage main body 2, a coaming 21 rising upward at the periphery of an opening 3 of the storage main body 2, and a lid 4 covering the opening 3. The engine side of the inboard/outboard motor is installed in this storage compartment 5. As a result, there is a risk that the temperature in the storage compartment 1, that is, the engine room, may rise abnormally, the amount of air supplied to the engine may be insufficient, or even the deck may become full of vaporized fuel and explode. Two intake side ventilators 7 and two exhaust side ventilators 8, which communicate with the storage chamber 1, are provided in opposite directions, forming a ventilation structure for ventilating the storage chamber 1.

However, in such a ventilation structure, in order to perform ventilation, not only the intake side ventilator 7 but also the exhaust side ventilator 8 are required as separate parts, which increases the number of parts. There is a problem in that water tends to flow in from the exhaust side ventilator 8 whose opening faces rearward.

On the other hand, in an outboard motor boat, a fuel link and a battery are stored in a stern storage compartment 15 that is made up of a main body 12, a coaming 31 raised upwardly around the opening 13, and a lid 14 that covers the opening 13. Since there is a risk of explosion of hydrogen gas generated from vaporized fuel and batteries, it is necessary to ventilate the storage chamber 11 as well as the inboard/outboard engine side. The mouth 17 is located on the rear wall 12b.
An exhaust port 18 was formed to form a ventilation structure.

However, even with this ventilation structure, if the motor well section 19 is hit by a fast wave, the water that has bounced back from the motor well section 19 will flow to the exhaust port 1.

Therefore, this invention forms an inlet with a portion oriented in the direction of travel, and extends at least a portion of the periphery of the lid to the outside of the coaming raised upward on the periphery of the opening of the extra-large body. A ventilation structure for the stern storage is formed by forming an exhaust opening in the upper part of this peripheral edge extension, and forming a communication opening in the coaming that communicates the exhaust opening with the storage chamber of the oversized main body. .

First, to explain the structure, reference numeral 2 in the figure is an oversized main body, and a coaming 21 that is raised upward over the entire circumference is provided at the opening periphery of this main body 2.
A seventh rung portion 241) is formed which extends to the outside of the rear end peripheral edge extension portion 24a and is bent below the rear end peripheral edge extension portion 24a.
11J24c is in contact with the upper end of the rear part 21a of the coaming 21. Then, the rear part 21 of the Shigamo coaming 21 is placed on the upper surface 24c of the engine hatch 3-hatch.
An exhaust port 24d is formed in the rear end peripheral edge extension portion 24a that extends to the outside of the rear end portion 24a. Furthermore, this exhaust port 24 (1
A communication port 21b for communicating between the storage chamber 1 and the combing 21 is formed by cutting out the coaming 21d in a state offset from the exhaust port 24d, thereby forming an exhaust passage from the storage chamber 1. On the other hand, as intake ports, two intake side ventilators 7 as intake ports communicating with the storage chamber 1 are attached to the upper surface of the deck 6 with the openings facing the bow direction.

To explain the function of the ventilation structure with such a configuration, when the inboard/outboard motor side is running, fresh air enters the storage *1 from the two intake side ventilators 7 and flows into the exhaust port 24 of the engine hatch.
The air that has passed through the communication port 21b is discharged through the communication port 21b, and the inside of the storage chamber 1 is ventilated to prevent a rise in temperature, replenish air supplied to the engine, and discharge vaporized fuel. In addition, even if water enters from the exhaust port 24d during high-speed waves or rain, the water will easily flow out through the surface of the deck 6, preventing water from entering the storage chamber 1. 4- No. In this embodiment, the exhaust port 24d and the communication port 2
11) Since it is formed offset, it is more difficult for water to enter. Furthermore, it is conceivable to use the exhaust port 24d as a handle when opening and closing the engine hatch 24, or as a cup holder.

While the ship is running, the running wind passes through all the intake ports 17 and enters the rear locker 15, which is a stern storage compartment, and gas evaporated from the fuel tank passes through the communication port 31b to the exhaust port 3.
4 (l), and the inside of the rear locker 15 is ventilated. At this time, even if seawater enters the motor well section 19 due to waves, the exhaust port 18 is ventilated from the back of the oversized main body 12 as in the conventional case. Since it is not provided on the wall 12b, seawater does not enter the rear locker 15 and the motor well section 19
It is discharged out of the ship from a discharge port (not shown) provided in the vessel. Furthermore, even if water enters through the exhaust port 34 (l), it will not enter the rear locker 12 as described above for inboard/outboard motor boats. Of course, it can also be used as a cup holder.

In the above embodiments, the exhaust port according to the present invention is provided at the rear of the inboard/outboard motor boat and at the side of the outboard motor boat, but it goes without saying that the exhaust port may be provided in the opposite direction.

As described above, according to the present invention, the suction port is formed with the opening facing in the direction of travel, at least a part of the lid body extends to the outside of the combing, and Since an exhaust port is formed and one communication port is formed in the coaming, an exhaust side ventilator is no longer necessary for inboard/outboard motorboats, reducing the number of parts, preventing water from flowing in due to high speed waves, etc. Water can also be prevented from entering boats.
