Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a filter-like adsorbent having the adsorptive power approximate to the adsorptive power of activated carbon and having small resistance in permeation of air by mixing a mixture consisting of specific ratios of activated carbon, bentonite and an inorg. adhesive agent with water and drying the same after molding. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 40-70 powdery activated carbon, 10-30 bentonite and 10-40 inorg. adhesive agent is thoroughly mixed, then 80-120% water based on the weight of said mixture is added thereto with thorough mixing; thereafter the mixture is molded to a filter shape of an optional shape and size, and is dried, whereby the filter-like adsorbent for air cleaner or the like is obtd. with the inexpensive materials. A silicate compd. of cement base is usable for the above-mentioned inorg. adhesive agent.

物は安価な物質であり活性炭素の吸着力をそこなうこと
なく成形することができる、また金型を選ぶことにより
任意の形状の成形品が得られる。
