Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high mixing accuracy in a short time by overlapping plural pieces of screw elements mounted around a driving shaft each other and disposing the elements with deviations in the phases thereof. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of screw element (4-1)-(4-4) are mounted around a driving shaft 3 disposed in a trough and the respective screw elements are wound about 180 deg. around the shaft 3 and are mounted at the length of a half pitch l. The adjacent screw elements are disposed by overlapping the same each other by 0-0.3l. The elements on the down stream side in the adjacent screw elements are disposed with deviations in phases of 75-105 deg. each when viewed in the winding direction of the screw elements relatively with the elements on the upper stream side. In other words, the effect of delivering the materials to be mixed is improved by overlapping the screw elements each other and the effect of larger dividing and mixing by a shearing effect is made possible by deviating the phases.

The present invention includes a trough, a drive shaft disposed within the trough, and a plurality of screw elements mounted and oscillated about the drive shaft, each screw element extending approximately 180' J around the drive shaft. The length of the winding is half pitch, and the installation is also n, and the adjacent screw elements are arranged with an overlap of only 0 to 0.3, and the downstream element in the adjacent screw element is the same as the upstream element. There is a continuous mixer C that is arranged with a phase shift of 75° to 105° as viewed in the winding direction of the screw element. Preferably, the trough can be opened and closed by an opening formed in the axial direction, and the shaft with the screw element can be replaced.

Figure 2 shows the screw element 4 for easy understanding.
The configuration layout is shown enlarged. In FIG. 2, for easy understanding, each screw element 4 is shown sequentially as 4-1.4-2.4-3.4-4 from the upstream side to the downstream side. Each screw element 4 is mounted around the drive shaft 3 by approximately 180° and extends in the axial direction of the drive@3 by a length of half pitch p. Adjacent screw elements are arranged so as to overlap each other by a distance d, which in the present invention is preferably O~0.31, preferably 0.03~0.26.

If the overlap distance d is outside the above range, the desired short-time mixing effect will not be obtained and manufacturing problems will occur, so it is best to keep the overlap distance d within the above range.

In addition, in the adjacent screw elements, for example, when looking at the elements 4-1 and 4-2, the arrangement around the drive shaft 3 is such that the element 4-2 on the downstream side is 75 mm away from the element 4-1 on the upstream side. It is preferable to shift the phase by ~105°. 4-2 (!:
4-3. The phases of elements 4-3 and 4-4 are also shifted in the same way. The reason why the phases of adjacent screw elements are shifted as described above is that if the above range is exceeded, the intended short-time mixing effect cannot be sufficiently achieved.

Furthermore, since the mixer of the present invention is simple, it is possible to clean the inside of the mixer when changing products or when manufacturing is completed by removing the opening/closing part provided in the trough 2 so that it can be opened and closed in the axial direction or by removing the screw shaft 3. It is preferable to enable cleaning. As a result, the sanitary properties of the mixer can be significantly improved.

In other words, the material entering the screw element 4-1 as shown by arrow A is divided into A1 and A2 by the screw element 4-2, A2 is divided into A3 and A4 by the screw element 4-3, and then the material is divided into A3 and A4 by the screw element 4-3. It is divided into elements starting from element 4-4. In addition, the material that has entered the screw element 4-1 as shown by arrow B is also divided and mixed by the successive screw elements in the same manner as described above. The element is divided into two layers, and if the number of screw elements is n, layer division is performed 2n times. In this way, K2''(n) is divided and mixed according to the number of elements, completely mixed, and discharged from the discharge port 6.

Using a mixer with 151JI%d=0.07# and a phase of 90°, the materials to be mixed were mixed with wheat flour as the main raw material and various grain flours, starches, and trace additives as auxiliary raw materials. Mixing accuracy 1 soil 0.5 in a short time of 60 seconds
- It was possible to perform mixing with high mixing accuracy. In addition, mixing accuracy is defined as δn-1, where the mixture to be mixed is sampled from the mixer outlet over time, the Na concentration in the composition is measured, the average of the values is k, and the variation is δn-1. /x means.

(1) Unlike conventional face-type or spiral-type continuous mixers, the mixer of the present invention has no overlap between the screw elements to produce the effect of feeding out the mixed materials, and the phase shift of the screw elements is achieved. Due to this arrangement, a 2" (n is the number of elements) layer-divided mixing effect due to the shear effect, which was not seen in conventional products, became possible.
