    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. カムチェーン室を有するエンジンのシリンダボアの所定
    位置に開口した小孔を介して該シリンダに所定の容積を
    有する副室を連通接続し、該副室内に圧縮ガスの一部を
    導入させて低速回転域における圧縮比を低減させる副室
    を備える内燃エンジンにおいて、前記副室をカムチェー
    ン室内に配設したことを特徴とする副室を備えた内燃エ
    ンジン。
