CONSTITUTION:A spacer 11 is inserted into a hole 13 which is formed at the center of a rotaional shaft 2 of a rotor 3 of an AC generator, AC exciter and a rotary commutator associated in a stator frame. A lead wire 9 for measuring an insulating resistance is lead from the lead wire of the field coil of the AC generator. A measurement can be performed without removing a manhole cover whenever the insulating resistance is measrued, inner cleaning can be eliminated, and the measuring work can be rationalized.
