要素のシリンダボアに摺動可能に嵌装され、前記リフタ
ポデーの内室と連通ずる油室を有するカップ状の第2の
プランジャ要素とを有し、前記第1のプランジャ要素内
には前記第2のプランジャ要素の下端壁によって上限を
限られた圧力室が形成されており、前記第2のプランジ
ャ要素の下端壁には前記油室と前記圧力室とを連通ずる
連通孔が穿設されており、該連通孔には前記油室より前
記圧力室へ向かう流体の流れのみを許容する逆止弁が組
み込まれおり、前記圧力室には前記第2プランジヤ要素
を前記第1のプランジャ要素から引□き出す方向に作用
する圧縮コイルばねが設けられており、前記リフタポデ
ーの上端壁には前記リフタホゾ−の内室と外部とを連通
ずる空気孔が穿設されており、該空気孔には前記リフタ
ポデーの内室からリフタホゾ−の外部へ向かう流体の流
れのみを許容する逆止弁が組み込まれており、前記リフ
タポデーの内室と前記第2のプランジャ要素の油室とに
は機関のオイルポンプより常時油が供給されて9おり、
前記リフタボデーの上端壁の上面はバルブリフトカムと
直接に接触係合し、前記第2のプランジャ要素は前記リ
フタボデーの上端面の下面に当接し、前記バルブリフト
カムの弁開押圧力を、前記圧力室内の油を介して、前記
第1のプランジャ要素の下端面 −の下面においてバル
ブステムに及ぼすように構成゛されていることを特徴と
