Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the construction and operation of a rotary rack, by composing the rack of plural frames, each of which has plural cargo carriers at plural levels and can be moved in an elliptic passage and by providing a cargo put-in/out unit which indludes a vertically movable fork and is located at the returning curve of the elliptic passage. CONSTITUTION:A rotary rack comprises numerous frames 3, each of which has cargo carriers 2 at plural levels, and a driver 5 for moving the frames in an elliptic passage 4. The frames 3 are guided with wheels 6 on a rail 7. A cargo put-in/out unit 8 is provided in the face of the returning curve of the elliptic passage 4. The unit 8 comprises a right and left pillars 9, a vertically moved frame 10, which is guided by the pillars, a movable rest 11 provided on the frame and movable rightward and leftward thereon, and a fork 12 provided on the rest and movable in and out forward and backward.
