本発明は複写機における定着装置、詳しくは一対のロー
ラを回転自在に接触してなるローラ型定着装置に関する

喰え込み支持され、用紙を両ロール間から引き出し除去

熱ローラと加圧ローラとの圧接状態を解除する機構が設
けてある。しかし、この機構は紙詰り時に発生する電気
信号を機械的な作動に変換して加熱ローラと加圧ローラ
との圧接状態を解除する構造であるから構造複雑で、複
雑な制御回路等を必要とするばかりでなく、信頼性も低

に揺動付勢され上側ローラ9と下側ローラ6とは離隔す

2を閉塞すると受片17が杆体15のフランジ15aと
当接してその自重によつて杆体15をバネ16に抗して
押し下げてそのバネ16の反力によつて上側ローラ9を
下側ローラ6に接触回転状態となるように押し付けるよ
うに構成してある。つまり杆体15が上部フレーム2と

作動させて上端面12aとフランジ15aとの距離を変
更することによつて任意に調整できる。一方、複写作業
時に紙詰りが発生すると複写機は停止するので、用紙通
路内に存在するを取り除くべき上部フレーム2をヒンジ
