排紙部3の枢着軸2,4は互いに離れているの
で、位置規制ピン11の位置規制部材12への当
接点は定着装置1の枢着軸2から離れた排紙部枢
着軸4の真上に近づけることができ、重量の大き
い定着装置1の重量による軸4の回りのモーメン
トを軽減することが可能となる。その結果、排紙
部に過大な応力が発生することが防止される。
