Abstract
PURPOSE:To make operation safe and easy by holding a guide roller vertically movably by a fixed spacing with respect to an external upper cover by means of a bearing holding member, and turning the external upper cover vertically thereby making the guide roller vertically movable with respect to a hot plate. CONSTITUTION:A supporting shaft 23 is fixed to the body of a copying machine, and an external upper cover 24 is installed turnably to this supporting shaft 23. The cover 24 is arranged so that it may be turned vertically, that is, reciprocatively in the arrow C directions of the figure, by fingers and can be stopped in the position shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line. A bearing holding member 26 and a guide roller 29 are also so arranged as to turn together with the cover 24. The guide roller 29 is moved vertically with respect to a hot plate 21 by vertically turning the cover 24. Then, when paper jams, the removal work is easy and the fingers are not heated at that time.
