Abstract

PURPOSE:To exchange lubricaring oil at a suitable time, by detecting at least first and second physical quantities which are closely related with degree of deterioration of lubricating oil, adding these quantities, periodically integrating such added results, and expressing an alarm when such an integrated quantity reaches a predetermined deterioration permissible limit. CONSTITUTION:An odometer 10 detects running distance per each certain value to generate a first binary signal. A F-V converter 40 generates speed voltage as converted from a signal from a speed sensor 30 for detecting a rotational speed of an internal-combustion engine, while an A-D converter 50 sequentially converts oil temperature signal from a temperature sensor 20 for detecting temperature of lubricating oil in an oil pan, and the speed voltage from the F-V converter 40 to a digital signal, and generates the second and third binary signals, respectively. A microcomputer 70 adds the values of the first to the third binary signal and updates same. Such values as added and updated are compared with a deterioration permissible limit of lubricating oil and an alarm is expressed by an alarm lamp 80.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 shows an example of a lubricating oil change time warning device for a vehicle according to the present invention. teeth,
It includes an odometer 10, a temperature sensor 20, and a speed sensor 60. Odometer 10ba' is an electronic type, and the j of the relevant 1 river i+i]! I-+ is detected every time the vehicle travels a constant distance, and the detection result is generated as a first binary signal. A temperature sensor 20 detects the temperature of lubricating oil present in an oil pan installed on the side of the vehicle internal combustion engine, and generates this as an oil temperature (lucky sign).
Detects the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine and generates it as a speed signal.

Further, in the above embodiment, an example was described in which the present invention was adopted to determine the lubricating oil replacement timing kW'Mi for a vehicle internal combustion engine, but the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, - The present invention can also be applied to warn when it is time to replace lft oil, etc. of a transmission.

Further, in the embodiment described above, an example in which a warning is issued using a single warning lamp 80 has been described; however, instead of this,
For example, each song of blue, yellow, and red is adopted, and addition update f1f4. P is each deterioration rF capacity limit F(1) to F(
When reaching 80%, 90%, and 100% of 3), each of the blue, yellow, and red lamps may be lit to issue a blue warning, a yellow warning, and a red t3 warning; Instead of a warning lamp, for example, a liquid crystal cell may be used to display text indicating the replacement time.

1) In the embodiment described in IJ, reset 1-signal 3 was generated from key fob drawer 0, but instead of this, ii. .. It is also possible to provide a set of reset switches for r, -l, so that the reset switch generates a reset ('E''<j) by replacing the lubricant. In such a case, 1111 A level sensor (・j) is added, and this level sensor detects a decrease in the amount of lubricating oil and monitors it carefully (
It is also possible to do so.

As explained above, the present invention V, therefore, +ji
As exemplified in Example 1 of Section J, 4 (adopted for both)
At least the first one is closely related to the degree of deterioration of the lubricant oil.
and the second physical nail, all of these detection results are generated as first and second detection signals, and the values of these detection signals are mutually multiplied and the results of this correction are integrated over time. , this reconnaissance result is predetermined as the deterioration π of the lubricating oil.
The feature of the structure is that it generates an output signal when the F capacity limit is reached and, in response to this output signal, warns that it is time to replace the lli'4 lubricant. be. As a result, by employing the device of the present invention, the problems mentioned at the beginning of this specification can be reliably eliminated, and the lubricating oil can always be replaced at an appropriate time.
