Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically give a warning if oil deterioration is more than a fixed level by scientifically detecting and judging the deterioration of lubricating oil on each item and synthetically judging the deterioration of oil in apparatus using lublicating oil such as engine and so on. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of sensors 4 are disposed in an oil pan 3, which are adapted to detect each deterioration of insoluble matter, metal in oil, acid value, base number and so on of oil 2. Judging devices 5 are adapted to distinguish between an input value and a set value by inputting an output signal of each sensor 4. The results of these judging devices 5 are input as output signal into a total oil deterioration judging device 6, and the input value is compared with a preliminarily set value. If oil deterioration is above a reference value, an alarm output is sent out by an alarm device 7.
