A conventional heating element holding device in a hot air heater is provided with a reflector having a parabolic cross section in the front opening of the frame, and each heating element is attached to a linear spring at the focal point of the reflector. Further, each heating element is connected and fixed to each terminal board of a terminal block made of an insulating material provided on the side plate of the reflector.

However, the heat generating element protection device in the hot air heater described above has a large number of parts and is complicated to assemble because both ends of each heat generating element are fixed with individual springs. However, the outer diameter of the quartz glass of the heating element, which is constructed by passing a heating wire through a quartz glass tube, varies widely, and there is a risk of breakage even with the slightest external force. Since different springs of the same shape must be prepared in advance, uniform retention cannot be obtained and it is difficult to achieve labor savings through mass production.

In order to solve the above-mentioned difficulties, the present invention provides elastic wires to be wound around each heating element that is mounted by passing through the side plate of the reflector and the terminal block attached to the side plate. The purpose of this is to hold each heating element quietly regardless of variations in the outer diameter of each heating element, reduce the number of component parts, facilitate assembly, and save labor through mass production. There is a hot air heater available.

A terminal block 11 is mounted in the middle, and an elastic wire 15 is wound around each end of the terminal block 11 and the heating elements 9 in a staggered manner, and both ends of the wire 15 are attached to the side plate 2. .. The terminal block 11 and each heating element 9 are elastically fixed and held by the only wire rod 15 because it is elastically attached to a pair of cut and raised engagement pieces 14 formed in the l. Not only is this possible, but even if there are variations in the outer diameter of the quartz glass tube 9a, it can be assembled without causing any inconvenience.
Since there is no risk of applying excessive external force, there is no risk of damage, and it has excellent effects such as being able to be fixed quietly with a uniform holding force.
