る方法に関するものである。

ドイッチボードの製造方法として表面層と裏面層との間
に発泡材を流しこみ、上下両面層を押圧してサンドイッ
チボードを形成する方法が行なわれている。しかし、か
かるボードを壁材として使用する場合には、ボードの端
末でウレタンフォーム中間層が露出しているため、特に
化粧材として美観上好ましくないので、従来該ボードの
両側面にも別個に化粧材を端末寸法に裁断し、手作業に
て貼着していた。この化粧材の側面への貼着を手作業の
代りに一員したコンベアライン上の一工程として実施す
るには作業上幾多の困難があつた。この発明は従来法の
欠点を解消し、一貫したコンベアライン上でサンドイッ
チボードの両側面にも自動的に表面層(もしくは裏面層
)の化粧材を取り付ける方法を提供することにある。

3)該傾斜部の上面材と中間層だけを打撃機により取除
いて下面材を厚み分だけ露出させる工程と、(4)該露
出部とボード本体との境界に刃型をつける工程と、(5
)前記露出部に接着剤を塗布する工程と、(6)前記下
面材を露出部側に折り曲げてボード本体側面に圧着させ
る工程とを順次連続して行うことを特徴とするサンドイ
ツチボードの端末を同一面材で連続的に処理する方法に
ある。

機5によりその両側端から該ボードの厚み分dだけ離れ
た位置で中間層4の底部から残り厚みが511以下、2
1!l以上になるよう上面3から第2図に示す如く切り
こみを入れる。該切りこみ個所を第2図1に示す段階で
押えローラー等の押圧機6により土面3から押圧して該
ボードの各側端部1a,1aを外方に傾斜させる。次い
で、第2図に示す段階においてハンマー等の打撃機7に
より該側端部のうち裏面材3aと発泡層4aだけをたた
き落して面材2の露出部2aを形成する。裏面材3aと
発泡層4aとを他の普通の手段、たとえばベルト等では
ぎとることもできる。面材露出部2aをガイドローラー
(図示せず)によつて水平位置に復元し、第2図に示す
段階で回転刃8により面材露出部2aとボード本体1と
の境界に刃型をつける。次いで、面材露出部2aにホツ
トメルト等の接着剤を塗布し、ガイドローラー等(図示
せず)によりボード本体側面の方に折り返して第2図に
示す段階においてベルト9またはローラー等で該本体側
面に圧着する。また、圧着と同時に、熱を加えて接着剤
を乾燥硬化させる。かくして得られるサンドイツチボー
ドは両側端末面に化粧面を有しているので、このまま出
荷することができるし、また残り2辺にも端末処理を施
すことができ、一貫生産の上から製造工程が生産スピー
ドに合致し、簡略化できる。
