Conventionally, as shown in Fig. 1, there is a continuous cotton casting apparatus that combines a wheel belt type continuous casting machine and a rolling mill to manufacture aluminum rough drawn wire and copper rough drawn wire. Since a rolling mill with a rolling process of 17 stages is required, the equipment occupies a large area, and maintenance of the equipment is difficult, making it uneconomical. Moreover, the shape of the manufactured product is The facility was limited and could not manufacture shaped materials, square tubes, circular tubes, etc., and was designed exclusively for cotton materials.

A rotary metal extruder is also being considered that consists of a rotating wheel with a circumferential groove and a shoe that makes a part of the circumferential groove wave. Moreover, in the case of a large-diameter feed nut, a considerable amount of heating time is required, which has the disadvantage that efficient extrusion processing cannot be performed.

In the metal extruder 11, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a U-shaped groove 12 formed on the outer periphery of the wheel 13, and
At the entrance of the cavity formed by the shoe 14 that serves as a lid plate,
When a feed stock, that is, a cast material 8 that is slightly larger than the groove 12 is introduced (the first part is indented), the cast material 8 is pulled into this cavity by the frictional force of the three sides of the groove and the rotation of the wheel 13. After the tip reaches the die 15, the tip is crushed and pressurized by the pressing action of the feedstock that is subsequently pushed in, and is put into a hydrostatic pressure state and extruded as a product from the die 15, Thereafter, the product is continuously extruded.

Therefore, by attaching dies of various shapes, we can manufacture not only wire rods and shapes, but also square tubes, circular tubes, etc. using bridge dies or boat hole dies that utilize the welding phenomenon caused by processing heat that occurs when materials are crushed. It is possible to consistently manufacture products with various cross-sectional shapes.

As described above, according to the apparatus of the present invention, it is possible to perform the entire process from casting molten metal to manufacturing products with various cross-sectional shapes. - It is extremely economical as there is no need for cutting, and since the cast material in a high temperature state from the continuous casting machine is directly introduced into the metal extruder to process the product, it is heated compared to the processing of feedstock at room temperature. This method eliminates the need for a machine, eliminates the inconvenience of slowing down processing speed due to a heating machine, and has the advantageous industrial advantage of being able to manufacture products with various cross-sectional shapes with high efficiency, in addition to the above-mentioned integrated manufacturing.
