Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damaging of an optical communication wire from a anchor clamp up to a connection box, by pentrating said wire through a terminal clamp, and connecting the same to each other in the connection box for the optical communication wire. CONSTITUTION:A junction 10 for optical connection wires of overhead earth wires contg. optical communication wires is illustrated. The two overhead earth wires 18, 18' contg. optical communication wires anchored to both sides of the arm 14 of a steel tower 12 by means of anchor clamps 16, 16' penetrate through the clamps 16, 16' and extend along both sides of the arm 14. The wires 18, 18' consist of steel stranded wire 24 twisted around a metallic pipe 22 in which an optical communication wire 20 is contained. These wires 18, 18' are crossed over the arm 14 so as to conform to the contour of the arm 14 at large curvature. Support clamps 26, 26' support the parts 18a, 18'a of the wires 18, 18' along the arm 14 respectively on the arm 14.

Optical communication lines are inserted into overhead ground wires to transmit information that controls power transmission on power transmission lines. The overhead ground wire with optical communication lines is held on top of the steel tower, and the optical communication lines are connected to the adjacent overhead ground wire. Connected to the optical communication line within the ground line. In the conventional technology, this optical communication line was pulled out from the retaining clamp that holds the overhead ground wire and connected on the tower, so the optical communication line was led to the junction box with the ridge still intact, and was bent by force and damaged. It had some drawbacks.

If we describe the example of non-invention in detail with reference to the drawings, the first example is
The figure shows an optical communication mm connection part 1 (J) of an overhead ground line with an optical communication line according to the invention, and two optical communication lines are held together by holding clamps 16 and 16' on both sides of an arm 14 of iron, $12. An overhead ground wire 18.18' with optical fibers passes through this tie clamp and extends along both sides of the tower arm 140. They consist of steel strands twisted around a gold MW 22 in which the optical fibers are housed. In the embodiment shown, these optical fiber-containing overhead ground wires 18 and 18' have a large curvature. The support clamps 26 and 26' are mounted on the tower arm along the tower arm 14.

The end of 8', 18'a is connected to the steel tower 1 near this junction box.
2 with end clamps 32, 32'. These terminal clamps 32, 32' clamp the ends of the overhead ground wire portions 18a, 18'a and are fixed to the mounting frame 29 of the junction box, as shown in FIGS. The communication line is attached to gold with this terminal clamp 32.3 along with 14 tubes 22.

According to the non-invention, as mentioned above, the optical communication line is protected by the overhead ground wire because the optical communication line is connected to the trunk where the optical communication line is inserted (even the N line junction box). Above, the overhead ground wire is supported by support clamps on tower components such as tower arms, and is also supported by the tower near the connection axis, so there is no possibility that excessive force from the overhead ground wire will be applied to the optical communication line pulled out from the terminal clamp. Therefore, information can be reliably transmitted without damaging the optical communication line.
